Donations and Support

Ways to Support Tockwotton On The Waterfront

At every turning point in the history of Tockwotton on the Waterfront the generosity of our friends has enable us to uphold our charitable mission to provide a quality home for elders with limited means. For almost 100 years, our community depended entirely on the work of volunteers and chartable donations. The advent of Medicare and Medicaid changed the fundamental sources of funding, but not the need for private support. As the cost of care increases and government reimbursements decrease, we are continually challenged to maintain our ability to provide exemplary care without increasing external support.

The willingness of our friends to follow the tradition of past benefactors will ensure that Tockwotton on the Waterfront continues to have the resources to weather the uncertainties of public funding and to ensure access to elders of limited means for generations to come.

Annual Appeal

You can designate your gift to support the Eliza B. Rogers, Resident Activity, or Wishing Jar Programs, or the area of greatest need. Every gift adds up and it’s all made possible by you.

Donate to Tockwotton’s Annual Fund, and your gift will pay for staff training, equipment purchases, building repairs, employee tuition reimbursement, and so much more.

Tribute Gifts

Remember or honor a loved one while helping others. At Tockwotton on the Waterfront, the honor and memorial gifts we receive help us continue providing high quality, state of the art health and housing services to elders in the Southern New England community.

A memorial donation is a wonderful way to remember and celebrate the life of a loved one, while making a gift in honor of someone is a great way to note their birthday, a special occasion or to simply say thank you.

After you’ve made a contribution to Tockwotton on the Waterfront in memory or in honor, an acknowledgement letter will be sent to the family member or honoree and a tax receipt will be sent to you. We do not specify the amount of the donation, and very much appreciate any amount
you choose to contribute.

Celebrate a life or loved one while supporting a meaningful cause!

Eliza's Legacy Society

We·created Eliza’s Legacy Society as a means to honor and thank donors for their gifts that will make a difference now or in years to come. Membership is reserved for those who have contributed at least $5,000 in cash, stock or planned gifts such as bequests.

As a member, you will be permanently recognized as a leading contributor and invited to exclusive member appreciation gatherings.

We encourage you to become a member of Eliza’s Legacy Society. Just as our early benefactors encouraged others to give, your enrollment will inspire other new members in the years ahead.
