There are 24 lovely suites at Tockwotton Home. Sometimes,
a couple, friends, or family members will share an apartment.
Therefore, we are licensed to provide Assisted Living
services for up to 30 people.

Tockwotton Home offers two styles of apartments: private
one-bedroom suites which include a living room, kitchenette,
bedroom, and bathroom, and studio apartments which combine
living rooms and bedrooms into one space, with a connecting
bath and kitchenette area.

Yes! We want each and every resident to feel at home--and
being surrounded by your own belongings is just one of
the ways to do so. Of course, we're happy to assist you
in making thoughtful choices based on your needs and the
size of your apartment.

Monthly rent includes three meals a day, weekly housekeeping,
linens and towels (changed and laundered weekly), transportation
to and from medical appointments (within a 10 mile radius
and when scheduled by our nurse manager), and
an array of activities.

Because Tockwotton provides three meals per day, there
is no need to cook meals! However, each kitchenette is
conveniently equipped with a microwave oven and small
refrigerator. And our van regularly makes trips to local
markets so that you may shop for your favorite snacks!

Tockwotton Home offers a subsidy program called the Eliza
B. Rogers Fund. This Fund subsidizes up to five of our
residents. If you are moving to Tockwotton Home with limited
financial resources or suspect your resources will be
depleted shortly thereafter, we would be happy to share
more information with you and to help you through that
application and approval process.

Recognizing that a person's pet is part of the family,
Tockwotton will gladly accommodate small pets for residents
who can care for them independently or arrange for someone
else to do so.

Our goal is to provide continuity of care and therefore,
Tockwotton grants priority nursing home admission to its Assisted
Living residents--for both short and long term stays.

Tockwotton Home is licensed to provide care to 42 residents
in the nursing home.

Yes. We accept people who have already been approved for
Medicaid, and we can guide current residents who have spent
their private assets through the Medicaid application process.

We will work with each individual applicant to insure that
their health insurance is accepted here. However, the most
important guideline for applicants is that they be enrolled
in the federal Medicare program.

Residents may be able to keep their own physician.
Some physicians, however, will not come to the nursing home
to see their patients. Our medical director will gladly see
any resident who chooses.

Tockwotton Home boasts one of the best staffing patterns
in the entire State. The state average for RN hours per Resident
per Day is 0.7, while Tockwotton Home averages 1.05 RN hours
per resident per day. Likewise, the state average for CNA
hours per resident per day is 2.2, while Tockwotton Home averages
3.06 CNA hours per resident per day.

Yes. Tockwotton Home is a fully certified Medicare provider
and skilled nursing home. We contract with Carelink Rehab,
which provides full time physical, speech, and occupational
therapies to residents.
