Tockwotton on the Waterfront represents the first true senior care community developed in the Providence area in over a decade. Located a few hundred feet from Bold Point Park, abutting the Seekonk River, Tockwotton on the Waterfront will be situated on just over 6 acres of waterfront land. The new community is about one half mile from the current Tockwotton Home.

Assisted Living Pricing and Apartment Selection:
Pricing for new residents at Tockwotton on the Waterfront will be announced in early 2012. In keeping with our not-for-profit mission, assisted living residents moving from the “old building” to the new will continue to pay the rates of the “old” Tockwotton building for one year following their move to the new location. These residents will also be given priority apartment selection prior to their move.
The Tockwotton on the Waterfront Charter Club program has begun. Members are starting to take advantage of club benefits and we think you should too! Charter Club Members are those who have filled out the program membership form and placed a fully refundable deposit of $100 for our new community, Tockwotton on the Waterfront. Once a deposit is made, members are assigned a priority place on the membership list. Placement on this list gives the prospective resident preference in selecting an apartment when formal applications for admission are accepted in 2012.

Skilled Nursing Pricing:
Tockwotton will continue to accept Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement. While the daily room rates for private-pay nursing home residents will be slightly higher than the current rates, we believe the increase to be modest. Upon the opening of the new building, all relocation costs will be borne by Tockwotton on the Waterfront.
